FOODIN (Kai Tin Market) and Hong Kong Market (Bauhinia Garden) under the category of Retail were granted the Merit Award while Red Market (Kwong Yuen Market) were granted the Excellence Award of EFMA 2019 , presented by Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management (HKIFM).

Hong Kong Market won two honours in ICSC Asia Pacific Shopping Center Awards. Red Market (Kwong Yuen Market) and Food Garden (Heng On Market) were awarded the Gold Awards under the category of ”Renovations and Expansions” and  Sliver Award under the category of ”Retail” respectively.

Hong Kong Market won two honours in  ICSC China Shopping Centre and Retailer Award. Hong Kong Market (Tai Kok Tsui) was awarded the Gold Award under the category of “Design and Development – New Developments” while Hong Kong Market (Bauhinia Garden) was awarded Silver Award under the category of “Design and Development – New Retail Concepts”.

Corporate Environmental Leadership Awards

Hong Kong Market was awarded “EcoChallenger” in Corporate Environmental Leadership Awards 2018, which recognized the outstanding achievements of the Group in environmental protection.

Caring Company

Uni-China (Market) has been nominated as the Caring Company by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service since 2016. The award recognizes achievements of the companies in caring for the community, employees and the environment, which drive the companies to take up corporate social responsibility.

Kwai Shing East Market was honoured by Kwai Tsing District Council and Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui, being named the age-friendly market in Kwai Tsing District which received the highest number of “likes” from the elderly. Meanwhile, Maritime Market (Tsing Yi) was also named the age-friendly market which received “likes” from the elderly.

In Jan, Food Terminal (Kai Yip) and M.C. BOX (Po Tat) was nominated the “Age-Friendly Market” by the elderly in East Kowloon. The award was co-organized by 9 local elderly centres in Kwun Tong, aiming to promote optimization of fresh markets to create an age-friendly community, i.e. implement facilities and measures.
